I think adding oauth to your portal would benefit your customers and users of the vines' customer portal
  • Ease of use: Most people are familiar with OAUTH I think. It simplifies logging in simply because there are fewer passwords for the user to remember.
  • Simplify wine club sign ups. Once logged in using OAUTH the user's name and email (and sometimes other user attributes like address) can be supplied by the OAUTH provider.
  • Security would be managed by the OAUTH provider, not Vines, one less thing for you guys to maintain.
I think a great step forward would be to integrate OAUTH using both Apple and Google (there are many) OAUTH providers
